This guacamole recipe serves: 2 very hungry men or 4 mildly hungry chicks:
6 small to medium Hass avocados
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 small to medium tomato, chopped
1/8 cup chopped cilantro
The juice of two small limes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 dashes of Worcestershire
1 small Serrano chili pepper, finely diced (optional)
Add all of the ingredients except the avocados into a bowl. Next, add the avocados and mix with a fork until blended. Ideally, the guacamole should rest in the fridge for about an hour. That gives the flavors a chance to develop together.
If you like spicy food, add the Serrano peppers. In my opinion, these peppers have a better, more unique heat and flavor than jalapeño peppers. Even with the Serranos, this recipe is not very spicy but has a medium, lingering heat. Also, the two dashes of Worcestershire are great but if you really love Worcestershire, and want a more unique but still tasty guacamole, add more to taste.
Enjoy my rocka-guaca-mole!
