Meat grinders are fun and a hand crank one is relatively inexpensive. When Gar and I brought ours home we searched the kitchen for anything we could find that would be fun to grind and we came up with this… broccoli chicken cheddar burgers.
As I was slowly and steadily grinding the chicken breast, I would add broccoli bits so that the grinder always had chicken running through it but the mixture would still have a fair amount of broccoli. Once the mixture was complete I added some shredded cheddar cheese to help hold everything together and some salt and pepper. I pan-fried the patties over medium-high heat with some vegetable oil since there is almost no fat in the mixture. This patty is great with your favorite sandwich bread and toppings. I loved mine with some spicy bbq sauce.
